Leave Bizee RA: cancel is not the state filing
“Cancel Bizee registered agent” (or “cancel Incfile registered agent”) is two jobs. One is the state record: a successor agent and a filed change. The other is Bizee billing: assign the new agent with the state, then notify Bizee, or their cancellation policy says the RA line may auto-renew. What Bizee publishes about canceling RA
Bizee’s cancellation policy is explicit on the RA line: you cancel by assigning a new registered agent with the state and notifying Bizee of the change. If that notification is not provided by the expiration date of the existing RA service, Bizee may automatically renew. The annual renewal fee is charged by Bizee’s registered agent partner (their policy names LegalInc as an example) to the card on file. Prices are subject to change without notice.

How do I leave Bizee as my registered agent?
Appoint a new registered agent (or lawfully serve yourself where your state allows), file the change with your secretary of state, then notify Bizee that you have a new agent on the state record. Their cancellation policy says you cancel RA by assigning a new agent with the state and notifying Bizee. If that notice is missing by the expiration date, Bizee may auto-renew. Filing Address does not file the change for you.
Is canceling Bizee the same as changing the agent on the state record?
No. Cancel / leave Bizee RA is a vendor billing step. The state filing (Statement of Change or equivalent) is what updates the public agent of record. Do the state handoff first so you are never without a continuous registered agent, then finish the Bizee notify step so the annual charge stops.
